Adobe Photoshop continues to grow and release new versions with some of the latest features so that it can make it easier for humans to do things using Adobe Photoshop.
Here is the Display Work area in Adobe Photoshop that might be different from the version you are using, but basically it's still the same what positions should be known and what can be used to work on a design.
A. Toolbox (various tools)
B. Tool Option Bar (to set parameter values of the active tool)
C. View area for images (to display the image being worked on)
D. Menu
E. Status Bar (description of the active toolbox)
F. Palette, from top to bottom: navigation palette, color palette, history palette, and layer palette (for easy navigation and editing of images)
G. Palette Well (only visible if the screen resolution is above 800 x 600)
